Refund Policy

Last updated 2026-06-03. Our policy for refunds on paid event tickets and platform services.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Party (party.com.tw) where Paddle (paddle.com) acts as the merchant of record. It covers paid event ticket purchases and any future subscription or credit-based services sold through the platform.

2. Default refund window for event tickets

Attendees may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the event has not yet started. Once an event begins, no refund is automatically available through this window.

3. Organiser-modified refund policy

Event organisers may set a custom refund policy for their event (e.g., no refunds within 48 hours of the event, or full refunds up to 30 days out). The policy stated on the event listing page overrides the default 14-day window for that specific event. The applicable policy is displayed on the event page and at checkout before you confirm your purchase.

4. Post-event refunds

After an event has started or concluded, refund requests are handled at the organiser's sole discretion. Party will facilitate communication between you and the organiser but cannot compel a refund on the organiser's behalf in this scenario.

5. Platform fee

The Party platform fee included in your ticket purchase is non-refundable once a ticket is issued. This fee covers payment processing, platform operations, and ticketing infrastructure. The platform fee amount is shown separately at checkout.

6. Future subscription and profile services

When subscription-based or one-time paid identity profile features launch, refunds for those services will follow the policy stated at the time of purchase. Partial-period refunds for subscriptions are calculated pro-rata to the nearest day.

7. How to request a refund

Submit your refund request by: (a) visiting party.com.tw/tickets and selecting the relevant booking, or (b) emailing ryan910814@gmail.com with your order reference number and reason. We aim to acknowledge all requests within 1 business day and process eligible refunds within 5 business days of approval.

8. Refund method

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paddle. Depending on your card issuer or bank, it may take 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement after we approve the refund.

9. Chargebacks and disputes

If you have a billing concern, please contact us before initiating a chargeback — we resolve most issues promptly. Paddle manages payment disputes as the merchant of record. Initiating an unwarranted chargeback may result in suspension of your Party account.

10. Event cancellation by organiser

If an organiser cancels an event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket face value automatically. The platform fee is refunded at Party's discretion in cases of organiser-initiated cancellation.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice before they take effect. The policy in force at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
