Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-07-03. The terms that govern your use of Party (party.com.tw).

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Party (party.com.tw) you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Party (operated by Ryan Lee, Taiwan).

2. Accounts and minors

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Under the Civil Code of the Republic of China (Taiwan): persons under 7 years old lack legal capacity and may not use the service; persons aged 7 to under 18 have limited legal capacity and must obtain consent from a legal representative (parent or guardian) to use the service, with the legal representative sharing responsibility for that use; a married minor is treated as having full legal capacity. Certain event content is subject to the platform's age-verification gate (18+), and unverified users may not register for such events.

3. Organizers

If you host events, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of event details, lawful conduct of the event, honouring registrations, and handling attendee personal data responsibly. Party provides software tools but is not the organiser of your events and accepts no liability for their conduct.

4. Paid tickets and platform fees

Party is free to use for discovery, registration, and basic organiser tools. When organisers enable paid tickets, Paddle (paddle.com) acts as the merchant of record for those transactions — your purchase contract for payment is with Paddle, not Party. Party charges a platform fee on each paid-ticket transaction; the applicable rate is displayed at checkout. Platform fees are non-refundable once a ticket is issued.

5. Refunds

Attendees may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the event has not yet started. After an event begins, refunds are at the organiser's discretion and subject to the refund policy stated on the event listing. See our full Refund Policy at party.com.tw/refund for details and how to submit a request.

6. Identity profiles

Party allows users to maintain multiple identity profiles for attending events (e.g., a public profile and one or more anonymous profiles). Free accounts may hold one public and one anonymous profile. Additional profiles may be available as a paid feature subject to separate pricing announced at launch.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Party for fraud, harassment, spam, scraping, promotion of illegal events, impersonation, or attempts to disrupt or exploit the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

8. Intellectual property

Party and its logo are trademarks of the operator. Content you submit (event listings, photos, reviews) remains yours; you grant Party a licence to display and distribute it within the platform. You may not reproduce Party's UI or branding without written permission.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Taiwan law, Party's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Party in the 12 months preceding the claim, or NT$500, whichever is greater. Party is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms at any time; continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.) and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court.

11. Contact

For questions about these terms, contact us at ryan910814@gmail.com or via party.com.tw/contact.

Payments on Party are processed by Paddle.com — Paddle acts as our merchant of record and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes.
