Payment processing
Party Pro / Club subscriptions
Party Pro and Party Club subscriptions (above) are billed and processed by Polar, who acts as the merchant of record and handles VAT and applicable taxes for these subscriptions. Your subscription contract for payment is with Polar, not Party. See Polar's Privacy Policy and Checkout Buyer Terms for how refunds and payment disputes are handled.
How paid tickets work
When an organiser enables paid tickets, Party charges attendees a platform fee on top of the ticket price set by the organiser. Payments are securely processed by Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record and handles VAT and applicable taxes. Buyers contract with Paddle for the payment.
Platform fee
A percentage of the ticket face value, displayed at checkout before you confirm. The exact rate is set per event and disclosed transparently.
Tax handling
Paddle collects and remits VAT, GST, and other applicable taxes on your behalf. No extra setup needed for organisers.
